Burial at Sea fanart by Benlo Burial at Sea fanart by Benlo
I've finally caught up, finished Burial at Sea 1 + 2 for Bioshock Infinite. I really liked how it wraps the rest of the story up. I really really enjoyed it. After finishing the DLC's, I was thinking to myself, if Infinite were to be made into a live action feature film, who would I cast as Liz? Who would I cast as Booker? What do you guys think?

I love the colour choices and the Little Sister looks positively creepy but not too much, which is good too.

It's a tuch question with the casting... I think that Burial at sea's Liz I would cast someone like Jessica Alba, or Scarlet Johansson (I am not a big fan of her, but she does fairly well action-based characters!), I guess? Though they would not work that well in Infinite version... So it's a touch choice :c

This may honestly be one of the best Burial at Sea fanarts I've seen! I mean it. I love the way you've illustrated both Elizabeth and the Little Sister. It's one of the best depictions of a Little Sister I've seen, really showing the fear and innocence and the wrongness of her condition. I love the way you chose to do her eyes, without making them glow. I also love you Elizabeth. I felt that BaS Elizabeth was actually rather OOC. They emphasized this idea of "blood makes a girl a woman" and the whole femme fatale thing far too much in my opinion, and your depiction actually looks far more like how I think the Elizabeth of Bioshock Infinite would look. Still mature, still strong, but more herself.

also fantastic job with the lighting and the composition. Thank you for making and sharing this!

I've finally found an awesome wallpaper that connects Columbia with Rapture. Thank you for this Hug

I'd love to see Audrey Tautou as Elizabeth. I think she's got that classy/innocent look, she's an amazing actress and she could pull it off if only she could manage to sound American. Or if fans would get over a French sounding Elizabeth. Neither I think are going to happen...   So Marion Cotillard.
As for Booker, Nicolaj Coster Waldau. To me he has the right look, the right voice, and the right feel as Booker.

Eva Green. I can't believe I'd forgotten about her. She'd be perfect. Way better than both Audrey and Marion.

Knowing Hollywood? Elizabeth would be Kim Kardashian in her feature film debut, Booker would be Leonardo DiCaprio, and the whole thing would be directed by Michael Bay.

hahha, actually if its Michael Bay, then he'll probably cast Megan fox as Liz, not the Kardashian

No, he cut ties with Megan Fox after Transformers 2 came out. Apparently she compared him to Hitler and he threw a hissy fit.
That's why she was replaced by that one British chick in 3.

You're right, BUT! Bay went back to using Fox again, he casted her as April in the up coming Ninja Turtle movie

If it was by Michael Bay, he'd probably have a wonderful time filming the ending of Burial at Sea: Part 2.

Prepare yourselves for EVERY BUILDING EXPLODING.

As for the plane crash? THE LIGHTHOUSE SUFFERS EXPLOSION DAMAGE!

Fontaine's death? ADAM SYRINGES CAUSE EXPLOSIONS!

Cheers!

For Booker Dewitt I'd say Either Karl Urban or Ken Hamm
Elizabeth is a bit tougher
maybe Saoirse Ronan
Possibly Amanda Seyfried (meh)
Zoey Deschnel (Has the look, probably not the acting chops)
Jennifer Lawrence (Definatly has the chops, the look may be a little off)

...thoughts?

the casting idea made me laugh a little, because liz's anime face makes her look a little inhuman when she stands next to other women in the game. animate her in.

that aside, wow this is really cool !! light the light and motion and stuff wow!!

Thanks, Yes, that is true, which is why its actually very difficult to think up of an existing actress who can play her role. It would be very cool to see it though.

I confess, I did not like the ending, and I hope that if the twins shows up in BS4, they get the punishment they deserve from being the manipulative creeps they were.

That being said:
Booker: Nathan Fillon
Liz: oddly enough, Katy Perry, failing that Chloe Moetz (aka Hitgirl)

****SPOILER**** I liked the game but found it's story mode to be more pretentious than good. People's imaginations I felt made it better than what it was. Although that maybe what benefits it for some people it was the opposite for me. I felt let down when the ending was part of many different realities(dimensions or w.e) and how it wasn't exactly the "true ending."  I  also felt kind of weird playing as Booker Dewitt, having the intentions that Elizabeth was a damsel with the leading idea of a potential girlfriend but rather she was his daughter. :O Disappointing...But yeah lol Love the emotion. You nailed their faces in how I thought they would of reacted.
